Map

Comme je ne l'ai pas encore fait (shame on me) je vais vous montrer précisément où je vais habiter sur une carte de l'Australie :-) Je vivrai donc dans l'état des New South Wales (NSW), les Nouvelles Galles du Sud, celui coloré en vert sur la carte ci-contre! Mon état se situe sur la côte Est qui est la plus peuplée, on y trouve deux grandes villes principales : Canberra, la capitale (hé nooon, la capitale n'est PAS Sydney :D) et Sydney (écrit Sidney sur la carte car son auteur est étranger et le nom de la ville s'écrit comme ça dans sa langue ;-)).  Ma ville, Wollongong, se situe à 80km environ au sud de Sydney, c'est tout près! J'habite dans le quartier de Balgownie et mon école se trouve dans celui de Bellambi. Romane, la fille avec qui je pars, habitera tout près de Brisbane. C'est aussi une grosse ville, elle se situe dans l'état du Queensland, juste au-dessus de celui des NSW sur la côté Est :-) Il paraît que c'est le plus bel état de l'Australie, c'est là qu'il y une majeure partie de la grande barrière de corail... On sera environ à 1200kms l'une de l'autre! Sur une carte un peu plus précise que la précédente, ça donne ça :

I know that I still haven't shown you accurately where I'm gonna live (shame on me!) ... So let's start! My host Australian state is the New South Wales (NSW), coloured in green on the first map :-) It is located on the East coast which is the most populated and where you can find two main cities : Canberra, the capital (cause nooo the capital ISN'T Sydney!) and Sydney (I know that it seems wrong spelled on the map but it isn't, the author of the map is not an english native speaker and he kept the name of the city written in his own language :-)) My host city, Wollongong is located about 80km south of Sydney, it isn't really far! I'm gonna live in Wollongong's suburb Balgownie and my school is in Bellambi. Romane (the other Belgian girl with who I'll take the plane) will live in a town not far from Brisbane. Brisbane is another big city which is located in the Queensland state, to the north of the NSW, on the east coast :-) I heard that the Queensland is the most beautiful state of Australia, they have the Great Barrier Reef there!!! It must be wonderful. Romane and I will be separated by ... "only" 1200kms! Look up on the second map I've uploaded :-)
